Microsoft Office to get dark mode for macOS Mojave

Microsoft Office Product Manager, Akshay Bakshi revealed in a tweet that Microsoft is working on a dark mode for its Office apps on macOS Mojave. The tweet also hints that Office testers will get access to the new dark mode as soon as next week.

Once Microsoft is done testing the new dark mode with Office 365 testers, the feature will be made available to Office users that subscribe to Microsoft Office.

The dark mode will suit well with the Apple‘s general dark mode in macOS Mojave. It’s expected that the dark mode lovers are going to appreciate Microsoft’s efforts for doing this.

However, it’s very much likely that the new dark mode for macOS Mojave will be limited to only Office 365 subscribers.

Microsoft launched Office 2019 recently only for Mac and it’s still delivering new features to the subscriptions before the product updates to these standalone licensed apps.
