Nikon was already having the Super-zoom title and yet they are again back with all new Nikon Coolpix P1000 which has a astonishing 125x optical superzoom. P1000 comes with a 24-3,000 mm f/2.8-8 lens (35 mm equivalent).
Nikon Coolpix P1000 is the successor of much loved and former superzoom title holder P900. The Coolpix P1000’s lens only opens up to f/8 at the long end versus f/6.5 on the P900.

Just like P900, Coolpix P1000 has a 16 megapixel, 1/2.3-inch sensor with an ISO range of 100-6400. The newly introduced toy comes with a non-touch flippable LCD screen and a 2.36 M-dot OLED viewfinder.
With Nikon P1000, you can shoot in 4K at up to 30 frames per second. It is also packed with manual exposure control and an external microphone input. This compact digital camera lets you control it over WiFi and Bluetooth via either the smartphone app, the ML-L7 Bluetooth remote or the MC-DC2 wired shutter release.
It has a dedicated bird-watching and moon-shooting settings on its mode dial.
It’s 14 inches long in length when fully extended, and weighs 3.1 pounds/ 1.4 Kilograms, which is comparably heavier than many of the rivals.
